For the big messes and whole house sweeps. The handle is wood wrapped half way down with recycled plastic. All one piece. Natural fiber bristles wrapped and stitched by broom maker friends. Colors will vary. Each is unique.
A broom is one of the most-used things in a house and one of the least considered. If you're going to use something every day, it might as well be made by a person. It might as well be beautiful, too.
About Debris Factory
Debris Factory is Drew Dayberry, who spent years making very traditional brooms before deciding that industry is actually pretty wasteful. So he started over with plastic headed for landfills and researching more sustainable fibers. He works out of his home studio on wild vintage equipment. Watching it run is quite the spectacle. We spent a year conspiring with (okay, begging) Drew to get these into the shop. They're finally here.
