Mini Daruma

Daruma have been the repository of wishes and goals for Japanese people for centuries. They plump papier-mâché figures who help their owners achieve their goals.

Traditionally you should begin by painting the left eye when a goal is set - adding the other eye once it is achieved and the magic is complete. A lovely and joyful tradition perfect for New Years wishes. I love them as a stocking stuffer!
